LOC Rules and guidelines

First off this is a sim league so lets keep it as real as possible. Rules are pretty simple, pretty much if you dont see it (commonly) in the NFL dont do it.

All-pro skill level
fantasy draft off
8 min. quarters
15 sec. acc. clock runoff.
injurys on and trades on (no CPU)

We will be advancing 2 times a week, make sure to send messages to your opponents right when the gameplay week starts to make sure your going to be able to work out a good time to play. If your opp isnt responding to your messages after the first 48 hours (or just before if your not gonna be on xbox 48 hours before we advance) msg me we'll get ahold of them, if they dont reply to me I will boot them so you can play your game. ***Dont tell us the day we advance that your opp isnt responding and boot them, you should have sent me a message earlier so I could get ahold of them.*** If you are booted you can come back just try to stay active.

Disconnects-
In the event of a disconnect, the game is to be restarted. If the game has already been decided than please finish the game. Starting the game from the point of disconnect will no longer happen.



Trading- human trades are fine. However if we see trades that are too unfair they will be rejected (especially if your new and your messing up a team). After week 6 a team can only trade once every three weeks and no trading in the playoffs. Teams that dont make the playoffs can begin trading freely after week 17. All trades must be posted in trade approval section first and become final once the both players complete trade.

Free agency- You can pick up up to 2 free agents a week, but you must drop the same number of players from your roster.
***At the beginning (weeks 1-4) its only 1 FA first come first serve***

4th downs- You are allowed to go for it on 4th downs in the following situations: (common NFL situations)
A) Anytime when trailing in the 4th quarter by 10 or more, or trailing in final 4 min.
B) Anytime when losing by 24 or more points
C) 4th and 1 or inches
D) When you have the ball between your opponents 30 and 40 yard line (b/c the kicker doesn't have a strong leg)
E) Inside of 2:00 at the end of either half

Tricking the computer- there will be NO nano blitzes,messing with punt formations, dont abuse the 1-5-5 Defense, no putting rbs high up on the WR depth chart (4th-5th wr fine), running straight back or straight the the sideline with the qb to throw the ball (occasional rollout ok), limit ur screens and passes to ur RBs, or any other forms of tricking the computer, moving multiple players pre-snap, also only run goal-line plays on the goaline (within a few yards).

running up the score- lets keep it civil, no running up the score, if your up by 24 or more run the clock out (10 or more in the 4th), no 2 pt conversion unless u need it. if you can kneel the ball do it. if your opponent cant possibly come back there is no reason for you to pass the ball at all so dont. we take this very seriously its a headache finding new owners when the old ones quit because they had people rubbing it in.(against CPU as well)

*If anyone is using cheese play,glitching,cheating or disconnecting on you remember to message us, we'll never know if you dont. we will keep tabs on everyone so repeat offenders will be forced to sit players or possibly booted.*

Its important you dont keep restarting your games guys, nobody is going to go undefeated, so dont restart your games because your loosing

i agree and would liek to add since we are playing real nfl shoujld we limit the max trades a team can make per year and in offseason in the real nfl teams dont trade off half the team just a thought

I'm late but agreed. However I did have one problem. I was msg'd because Forte has "too many" receptions. But I am not putting him at wr I simply check down when my wr's aren't open which happens a lot considering both my 1 and 2 aren't great route runners. Realistically that's what happens in real life + forte actually lead the team in receptions in real life two yrs ago for the very same reason he leads mine so who is it to say it isn't' realistic? I don't do glitch plays or manipulate his position, he simply is open in the flats when everyone else is covered...

Honestly if my rb is sitting open on a normal play arwe you asking me to ignore him? That's not realistic

Get back to me please cuz I play for and don't wanna be prosecuted for this

yea in this league we ask that you limit your passes to your hb. I understand forte led his team in receptions last season (he didnt lead his team by twice as much as the next guy however) unfortunetly this isnt real life football its a videogame and there are some things that are just exploited way too easily so we have to make rules for them. Just like you cant immedietly run out of the pocket witih the qb and throw like they sometimes do in the nfl. If you arnt happy wiht your recievers rout running i suggest trading for some you do like. No worries though no one is trying tp prosecute you at all the other comish was just sending messages out to everyone who needs to cut back on there passing to rb's you definetly werent the only one although as of week 3 forte had almost double the receptions of any reciever in the league so u definetly need to cut back.

Hi, new here and the rules sound good, everything is realistic. However, i was curious if you have any rules about the amount of receptions that tight ends can have since I often throw to them? Thanks
